Ceramic Tile Infrared Burner
The QC-12 burner has a quick-cooling
ceramic refractory tile. The tile has thousands of tiny holes
through which the premixed gas passes. The gas ignites as it
exits these holes producing no visible flame, but heats the
ceramic to produce infrared radiation.
The Red Ray QC-12 12" gas-fired,
infrared, premix process burner offers significant benefits
where ever a quick-cooling, powerful and efficient medium wave
infrared burner is required.
A special ceramic refractory
grid rapidly comes to high fire and cools quickly (like a fiber
matrix) but is much more durable - with better resistance to
both water and thermal shock damage.
The QC-12 is easy to install
and easy to operate. It doesn't need a cooling air plenum and,
because of its quick cool-down, rotating equipment is not required.
Additionally, it is an excellent cost-effective replacement
for catalytic or matrix-type burners in the powder coating,
textile, paper, food and other industries.
